External Program Review Supporting Materials

  • In 2020, the Endicott College community adopted a 5-year cycle for completing external program reviews. This process will ensure that our curriculum is up to date. 

 

  • In 2022, the Endicott College community adopted a standardized format for conducting a external program self study to ensure a standardized report process and reporting of data across the institution. The Program Review Instructions for Faculty and Staff will be used to guide you in the self study process. The guidebook provides a "quick link" to NECHE standards to ensure complacence in meeting the specific standard. A detailed calendar of deadlines for academic program reviews is provided to ensure proper proper timelines are achieved.   

 

  • In 2022, the Endicott College community adopted a standardized format for external reviews in authoring the final report of findings. Reviewers evaluate program learning outcomes, student achievement of these outcomes, and other aspects of program effectiveness, such as faculty areas of expertise, curriculum, and resources. The reviewer(s) will be provided a copy of the Program Review Instructions for External Evaluators guidebook to ensure that they follow the report templates on reporting of the findings.

Institutional Assessment Committee (IAC)

Purpose: To foster a culture of continuous improvement in both academic and administrative areas. Working with the director of assessment, the committee develops and recommends College-wide policies and procedures that meet accepted standards for data collection, data analysis, goals, and objectives as stated by departments and offices. The committee reviews results of assessment activities to ensure that data-informed improvements are made when necessary, and collaborates to support and provide assessment workshops and seminars.

Endicott College participated in the 2020 NECHE Annual Meeting Poster Session.  During the poster session, the goal was to showcase the work that Endicott College is performing with curriculum mapping as an assessment tool. Participants learned about the steps taken to use curriculum mapping as an assessment tool, what worked well, challenges encountered, and recommendations going forward at the graduate and undergraduate level.
